Manny

Manny grew up in Denver, Colorado, before relocating to North Carolina to complete high school at Athens Drive and pursue a Computer Science degree from East Carolina University.

Manny is dedicated to community and service. He's contributed to the ECU Computer Science Advisory Board and the North Carolina Museum of Nature and Science Advisory Board, which are appointed by the Governor. He’s also served on the NC Bar Council, mentored young boys through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and coached swimming.

Manny has held influential political roles, including National Committeeman for the NC Federation of Young Republicans and NC Chair of the Young Conservatives for Energy Reform. His past leadership includes roles within the Wake County Republican Party and the Young Republican National Federation.

In his spare time, Manny enjoys reading, swimming, playing hockey, and spending time with family and friends.

Eric

Eric is a clinical therapist, speaker, and father who is passionate about breaking generational cycles and creating space for Black men to thrive emotionally. With over a decade of experience, Eric specializes in supporting individuals and families through anxiety, mood, and identity exploration. His work blends clinical work with personal experience as a Black father, offering an authentic voice on how agency, mental health, and cultural influence intersect. Eric believes that healing starts with vulnerable conversation and a connection to community.

Tamika Walker Kelly

Tamika Walker Kelly is an 18-year NC Public School Educator, having taught 13 years as an Elementary Music Specialist at Morganton Road Elementary School in Fayetteville, NC. 

Tamika is in her 6th year as President of the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE). 
NCAE is the state's largest professional organization for public school employees. In this role, Tamika advocates for a high-quality public education for all students, legislation that benefits public school students and educators, and building community support.

Tamika’s vision is that through our collective work at NCAE, we can continue building upon NC Public Schools' great legacy.
